The research in honor of Assoc. Prof. Ognyana Mazhdrakova-Chavdarova is designed as a collection dedicated to the multifaceted topic of the transition of Bulgarians in the 19th and early 20th centuries from traditional medieval society to the modern world. With the wealth of questions raised and problems developed, the collection reflects the contemporary level of our historical science on the issues of the Bulgarian National Revival. It involves both established specialists from leading scientific units and regional historical museums in the country, as well as young researchers. The collection is aimed not only at the academic community, but also at the wider public, who is interested in professionally developed problems of the native past.
