The selection of poems included in this first volume is the work of Milena Tsaneva. All poetry collections are presented, arranged chronologically according to the date of their printing, as well as some works not included in them. In the notes of Iliya Todorov to the individual collections, all the works included in them are mentioned and the reader gets a complete idea of ​​the character and structure of Vazov's poetry collections. In this edition, the authentic sound of the author's language is preserved - all lexical features, foreign words, archaisms and dialectisms are preserved. Vazov's spelling, which largely reflects the history of Bulgarian spelling during the period of its formation and is therefore quite contradictory, at times even incomprehensible to today's reader, has been modernized, with only individual features characteristic of the poet being preserved. The preface, the scientific commentary and the notes increase the value of the edition.
