Summary

The present anniversary collection in honor of Corresponding Member Prof. Milena Tsaneva aims to highlight both her creative portrait and to present new studies related to the problem areas in which she works: the Bulgarian Revival, Ivan Vazov, trends and searches in Bulgarian literature at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the dynamic and multifaceted processes in our spiritual life from the period between the two world wars, contemporary literature; literary theory, history and criticism. This presupposes the thematic diversity of the texts, and the participation of many and several generations of scholars – the different methodological strategies shaping the publication. Through it, ideas and directions that are relevant for contemporary humanists can be highlighted.
